2 Month Check Up!

This morning Denny and I took Lucy to her 2 month well check with Dr. Kern! She is a healthy growing girl!

weight = 10 lbs. and 5 oz. (50%)
length = 21 in. (10%)
head = 15 1/4 in. (50%)

Lucy smiled and cooed for Dr. Kern BEFORE the shots began…then she screamed and screamed while he gave her 3 shots in her thighs. She got #1. Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis, #2. Haemophilus Influenza type b #3. Polio and #4. Hepatitis B. I would have done anything to take the pain away for her. I would have taken the all shots for her if I could have! She also got one liquid vaccine in her mouth. That didn't seem to bother her at all. After a few minutes she was no longer crying and fell asleep in my arms. She slept the entire car ride home and is still sleeping now in her car seat! Hopefully she will have a sleeping day and not be in too much pain :(
