TU TU Time!

On Monday Laura, Katie, and I had a little crafting fun! After a quick trip to Michaels the crafting began…

Making Lucy's very first TU-TU!

First step….wrap the tulle around a box and then cut through all layers at one end.

You will now have your strips of tulle ready to wrap around the elastic!

Secure your elastic to something (a.k.a laptop) and begin covering it with your tulle strips.

The girls decided 2 strips of pink, followed by 1 strip of purple looked best. Team Work!

…it is important to take breaks to hold the princess!
Photobucket
…almost finished!

You're absolutely right. To. Die. For. She is such a princess and soooo much a little girl! Love the headband as much as I love the tutu! Lucky Lucy! (P.S. Strong work, Mommy...her thighs are finally filling in!)

We will make tutus for all the girls someday at Mimi's house. Jackson will watch and roll his eyes as he looks for the door to join the guys outside to golf. :)
