Lucy Meeting Eddie!

I dreamed of this day from the moment I found out we were expecting baby #2!  I just couldn't wait for Lucy to meet her baby brother and see her reactions.  It was just as special and amazing as I thought it would be! Eddie is lucky to have such a good BIG SISTER.

Mimi and Papa brought Lucy to see us Friday morning around 10:00 a.m.  Lucy was a bit nervous in the hospital environment but quickly climbed into bed with me! She was eager to show me the "bawoon" she brought me.


It was wonderful to cuddle with her for a minute.  I missed her SO much!

We surprised her with a "Goodnight Moon" Pillow Pet and some cookies while we waited for Eddie to return from his pediatrician check-up.

It was really nice to have a few minutes with her before introducing her to Eddie! I think this help her with the "first meeting!"

Moments later, Mimi and Daddy brought Eddie in the room to meet Lucy!!!







Lucy quickly said "I hold him!" to me.  So we agreed and she snuggled him in close.  She patted his face and pointed out his tiny fingers.  She then looked up to her Daddy and said, "Look Daddy, I holding him!" (And YES, we even captures this on the video camera!)

This picture captures it all!  We are blessed beyond words.  God is GOOD!


Eddie also got to meet his Mimi and Papa for the first time Friday morning!

It was love at first sight!  He is a lucky boy with such wonderful grandparents :)
