Eddie Coming HOME and Lucy's New Bike!

Saturday, May 5th we were able to bring Eddie home!  We had a good stay in the hospital with Eddie but we very eager to get home with him.  The second time around we felt like "pros" and everything went smoothly with Eddie! We were good with the "new baby" stuff and Eddie was an easy baby!

We enjoyed every snuggle and cuddle with our little baby boy while in the hospital.

He smelled so sweet!  That newborn smell is unlike any other. I wish I could freeze time.  After coming home to our big 2.5 year old toddler, I know this little newborn baby will grow so, so quickly

We got Eddie all dressed and loaded into his carseat!

We got home at 3:30p.m., greeted by his Mimi and Papa! Lucy was still napping.

When Lucy got up we cheered in excitement to be home with her!  She was all smiles and loved telling us about her adventures with Mimi and Papa.

We were very excited to give her the new BIKE we bought her!

She loved it and was bossing her Dad around in seconds!  "This Way!"

Bringing Eddie home for the first time was a wonderful day that we will never forget!  Our family of 3 quickly became an even better family of...4!  We are so lucky!

I can't wait to see him this weekend. I've never seen him with eyes open and I can't imagine how much he's changed in almost three weeks! It's been too long!
