My weekly appointment went well yesterday after school. I have not made any big changes from the previous week. But the doctor did give me some information that I was eager to hear all about. Dr. Atwood thinks baby Lucy weighs in the mid to high 6 lbs, according to my measurements, etc. She also thinks she will arrive before next Wednesday! (But if not I have an appointment on Wednesday, February 10th where we will discuss induction.)
I am still feeling great and am MORE than ready for our baby to arrive! We are expecting a BIG, BIG snowstorm this Friday and Saturday. They are predicting anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of snow for central Ohio!!! WOW! Maybe baby Lucy wants to arrive in the middle of a snowstorm....haha :) My mom said that she went into labor with me during a snowstorm...like mother, like daughter!
Denny and I are off to Carrabba's for dinner...could this be our last dinner just the two of us?!?!

I expected a mid March baby but instead on February 28 I went into labor. Aunt Debbie and Lisa came over around 9 pm to watch Jon and Julia and off to the hospital we went. It was a blizzard and I think I waited too long to head to the hospital...as I gripped the handle and screamed...I arrived at Toledo Hospital. At midnight, Frances arrived but since it was actually 12:03 am, it was February 29th...voila a leap year baby. Can you believe it. So, let it snow and let Lucy arrive. xo
my mom has a similar story about going into labor with me......and it being dark, cold, and night and I was way early.......and there was a blizzard. Not surprising since my b-day is only a few days past Frances's....that is a brutal time of year in Ohio. Frances, may the force be with you, haha!!
Twiddling my thumbs, hoping for an update! Snow storms bring babies, eh? I'm out of luck on May 6th! :) Maybe sunshine is also a good labor inducer!
