O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

On December 1st we ventured to Timbuk Farms, along with all of Granville, to cut down our very own tree. The farm was packed that afternoon!

This place is something no child could forget....Santa, hot chocolate, fields and fields of trees, decorated buses to ride on, gift shop stocked full of ornaments, and more!

We had gotten a nice snow a few days earlier and it was quite muddy.  Luckily it was a mild day and not too cold but I was thankful Lucy wore rainboots and I have Eddie in a baby carrier because the mud was intense...

I think Lucy would say the bus was the best part!  She smiled ear-to-ear the whole ride!

The search began!  Lucy started by picking out the small, cute trees.  But quickly she caught on and was pointing out the 12 footers. HA!

We finally found the tree and Daddy went to work...

That place looks AMAZING...VERY GRISWALD-ESQ!! Christmas trees and Florida are so lame...we get them trucked here from Michigan and North Carolina and the tree lots put them in TENTS because otherwise the sun and heat would fry them in a week!!
