Happy Birthday to LUCY!

Lucy real birthday fell on a Wednesday this year. We started her morning with surprise pink-sprinkle pancakes and bacon, a few presents, and Daddy staying home for breakfast!

Megan brought her to my school to see my class and share chocolate chip cookies.  It was a blast and my students all made her cards, brought her little gifts, and were so excited to see her.  It was a special surprise!

That evening we decided to meet friends at the local Mexican restaurant for a fun dinner!

Lucy ordered her favorite thing....."chipies and mole-y"  AKA chips and guacamole.  That girl can eat a whole bowl of guacamole in one sitting.  She also hums, the sweetest little hum, the whole time she eats it!

Eddie had a good ol' time too!

We ended the meal with a cake and "Happy Birthday to Lucy!"  It was a fun evening celebrating Lucy's birthday with friends.

Baby James ended the night making "some moves" on baby June!

Her birthday was a great day!  And more fun was to come, as her whole family came to town for the BIRTHDAY PARTY WEEKEND at Coco Key Waterpark!

Give me your thoughts on your mama beads? Is Eddie too old for them or does he take interest in them for chewing or play? I seem to remember my 6-9 month old nurslings were distracted by everything...so I think it may be really helpful.

I love the chew beads. Eddie also thinks they are pretty rocking. I would say they would be best for like a 5-6 month old at the start but at 9 months he still enjoys them.
