BRRRR! BRRRRR!  BRRRRRRRR!  Is all I have to say about January/February 2014.  We have had 8 "snow days" already this winter due to snow and/or cold weather.  We have had temperatures below -10 with wind chills much colder than that.  We've also lucked out with the stomach bug passing back and forth between Lucy and Eddie.


Despite the weather and sickness....we've still had a fun winter. Arts and crafts, baking, cooking and the toy room have been keeping us busy.






The local science museum in Newark, The Works, is a fun place on a cold day.



I've been doing little projects around the house like painting and organizing.


Spring, we are ready for you!

YMCA Classes

We've signed up for some fun classes at the local YMCA this winter.  Lucy is taking swimming lessons every Saturday morning.






She isn't so sure about the "water in my face" part but she loves swimming. She seems to enjoy the instructors too!


Lu and Ed are both taking gymnastic class at the Y with Nicole on Fridays.  They both have class from 10:00-10:30.  Lu is in the preschool class and Eddie is in the "Mommy and Me" class with Nicole. They have a blast and enjoy being active despite the cold weather outside.

NYE

We have an awesome tradition for New Year's Eve!  The Burrow family comes to stay with us and we party until 12:01.  HAH!


Every single year it seems Julia or I are pregnant or nursing.  But we wouldn't trade it for the world.  Check out this sweet Mary-Claire!


Sweet Elisabeth is the eldest cousin of the family.  Lu and Ed love her so much!



The day is full of playing dress-up, movies, dancing, coloring, and FUN!



The girls made homemade pizzas this year.



This year we were invited to a friend's party down the street.  So we all ventured out for a bit of fun.


Eddie LOVES Ellie... a lot!

Can't wait for the Burrows to be back for the next NYE celebration!
