Edward's Baptism

On Sunday, January 13th Edward Dennis was baptized at St. Edward's Church in Granville.


We celebrated Mass with the whole O'Bryant clan and the whole Ehrmin clan and even great-grandparents!



The girl cousins just couldn't get enough of Eddie.



Trouble...


Wait, no....these two are the trouble!


Ellie and Anna love him like their own baby brother.


He loves his great-grandmas!



And his Beba and Dee Dee!


And Mimi and Papa, too!


Then Eddie was baptized in a little ceremony in the gathering space after church. Despite being a little older, and very aware he did great.

Lucy danced on the church steps most of the ceremony!




It was a memorable day for Edward and our family!


We ended with a special lunch at Buxton Inn with our whole family.


(We were sad that Eddie's godparents couldn't join us, but Jon and Jenny sent him a beautiful cross to remember this day by.)

8 Months!

Eddie turned 8 months and is on the move!


He is crawling...well, army crawling.  He doesn't lift his body off the ground but drags his body using just him arms.  I've got to get this on video! New this month - he can also get himself in the sitting position on his own.  I will never forget walking into his room after a morning nap, and he was sitting up just smiling.  His face said, "Mom, check me out!  I can sit up all on my own."  It was so darn cute.


He LOVES eating, ANYTHING, and crawling to grab Lucy's toys.  Or anything Lucy is playing with at the moment!

His top four teeth are breaking through, causing him quite the pain, but he continues to be a happy boy!
